 This is the Mission: To create kids' books written for the Inner Child in Us all.

 

Hi, I'm Rocky Val-Hayden, author and illustrator.

For as long as I can remember I have been telling stories. Telling stories have been a part of my family since I was old enough to remember. Starting with my late grandfather telling his tall tales about his wild hunting trips and adventures overseas. Stories are how we connect with each other, share and spend time with one another, entertain and bring comfort. I see it as my mission to bring you the best stories my imagination can create. I love writing, and illustrating; and, have been doing so off and on since 2010. Not everything I have created has turned out to be a sensation, but that doesn't stop me from doing my best to bring you, my readers, something magical. I believe kids' books should be enjoyed by everyone of all ages, to the very young and to those who are still young at heart. If even only one person ever reads one of my books and it manages to bring a smile to their face, inspires their imagination, or just allows them to escape the harshness of the world for just a few moments -then I consider it a success, no matter the sales numbers. 

I don't claim to be a perfect person, far from it in fact, for I have made many a mistake in my time here on Earth; but, if I can bring the world a little joy while here during my limited time in this life then I consider all the effort worth it in the end.
